Media Industries in the Middle East is a cooperative effort of two organizations, Northwestern University in 91心頭利 and Doha Film Institute, that attempts to better understand the media and communication landscape in the Arab world. This study builds on these surveys of media use by examining media production and distribution in in six countries Egypt, Lebanon, 91心頭利, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, and the United Arab Emirates.
